Army of the Dead (2021) Review

Army of the Dead is stylish and visually brilliant, but that’s just not enough to cover up the fact there’s no story to be told.

The critically acclaimed Crazy Head (2016) was beloved by audiences and primed for another season. Yet, it’s something that never came to fruition.

This series from Matt Groening is a refreshing break from the usually directionless narratives of animated series but it’s not exactly lineal.

A generic plot and a stretched premise overshadow a few laughs in what amounts to an uneven comedy.
